Effective July 1, 2026, Kun Yang has been promoted to Partner Patent Attorney at THEWAVE IP Law Firm.



 

Kun Yang majored in Bio/Medicine, Chemical/Material and advises clients across a broad range of intellectual property matters in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical sectors. His practice includes patent prosecution, patent analysis, freedom-to-operate and infringement investigations, licensing strategy, invalidity analysis, technology transfer consulting, and the development of patent portfolios.
 

He has extensive experience in cutting-edge biotechnology fields, including gene editing, AAV-based gene delivery technologies, exosomes, biomarkers, diagnostic platforms, Alzheimer's disease therapeutics, and immunology-related technologies.
