Misun Kim, a patent attorney specialized in bio/pharmaceutical, graduated from Seoul National University with a bachelor's degree in food engineering and a master's degree in agricultural biotechnology. She brings her experience in patent application and litigation, working with both domestic and international companies. Her expertise includes patent portfolio management for new drugs, conducting FTO analysis, providing patent information on competitors, assessing the potential invalidity of competitors’ patents, and reviewing patent avoidance strategies.

At THEWAVE, her role will encompass preparing and filing domestic and international patent applications, handling patent prosecution, providing legal advice, offering litigation opinions, conducting infringement assessments, addressing intellectual property disputes, and managing licensing matters in the bio/pharmaceutical field.
