Q2. Why did you join THEWAVE?
While working as a Patent Agent for a US company, I worked with the THEWAVE on one of their IP matter in the US. Then, I decided to join THEWAVE since many of the patent attorneys here were my colleagues at Y.P. Lee, Mock & Partners.
Q3. What do you think is the most important thing in IP work and what are your strengths?
I think having various experience in many areas is the most important thing in IP work.
Regarding my strengths, I can see as much as you know, and I consult as much as I know.
In particular, clients who want to create a stepping stone for overseas expansion through IP, need patent experts who know the culture of US companies and US patent law. This is where my experience in the US plays a very important role.
Q4. What kind of patent attorney do you want to be?
I want to be a patent attorney who is not afraid of challenges. Life is unpredictable and new things that you have never encountered appear all the time. Thus, I want to be an IP expert who addresses such challenges and is never afraid of dealing with new issues.
